Make A Difference This Saturday, October 25th! #MDDAY

This Saturday, October 25th is ‘Make a Difference Day’. For over 20 years, Points of Light and USA WEEKEND Magazine have been helping others in what is now the nation’s largest day of service and volunteerism. When Americans unite on this day to make a difference, their local communities and lives become greatly enriched. As Audrey Hepburn said, “As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.” That is the embodiment of ‘Make a Difference Day’.

A friend to Karin’s Florist, Loukoumi Books has been very active with ‘Make A Difference Day’. These children’s books about a lovable lamb named Loukoumi, all have an underlying theme of giving back. Introducing children to volunteerism at an early age has been a main focus of the Loukoumi books, and we’re proud to help support Loukoumi the lamb’s efforts! Last year, over 20,000 children participated in MDDay. This Saturday, unite for ‘Make a Difference Day’ to take action and change the world.
