  • The WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Awards recognize the top five percent of local wedding professionals on WeddingWire who demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness, and professionalism.

In addition to the awards won by Karin’s Florist, we would like to also recognize our President and CEO’s recent accomplishments:

  • Women Who Mean Business Profile Award Winner – Maris Angolia – The Washington Business Journal announces the 15th annual Women Who Mean Business awards program. This award honors the region’s most influential business women. We’re looking for women from every industry and profession — women who have made a difference in their communities, blazed a trail for the rest of us and are leaving a mark on the Washington-area community.
  • Profiles in Success Award – Maris P. Angolia, President and CEO of Karin’s Florist in Vienna, Va., is this year’s recipient of the Profiles in Success Award given to an area executive for their demonstrated leadership skills that embrace character, chemistry and caring. Angolia accepted the award from Gordon J. Bernhardt, President and CEO of Bernhardt Wealth Management at the annual Profiles in Success event among a crowd of top area business owners, CEOs and entrepreneurs. The award is a replication of Ascent, by artist Gary Lee Price. Like the award, the sculpture of Native Americans climbing up a cliff represent the struggle to overcome opposition and difficult personal challenges and the absolute need we have for others to reach out, bring us in and raise us up.

But by far, our biggest award is the trust you place in us to help you celebrate your life’s most important moments. We don’t take that lightly and we greatly appreciate your business. Thank you for a wonderful year.
